Who we are

Lancaster Court has a vibrant and active community association where all are welcome to help make Lancaster Court a home we can be proud of.

Together we have found we can really make a positive difference to our estate and enjoy extending our friendships beyond the walls of our homes and out into the spaces we share.

We have already successfully bid for various grants and initiatives to improve the fabric of our estate and by bringing our individual ideas to our regular meetings perhaps we can make our estate a shining model of communal living.

Our meetings are held on the first of every month at 7 PM in the community hall Lancaster Court, please join us.

What is a Resident’s Association?

It is a local group made up of all Residents living on an Estate. The aim is to work together to represent the views of all Residents to make our neighbourhood a better place to live.

The Residents Association plays a large part in dealing with most issues that concern Residents. Social events are also organised. The Association is set up for everyone living on the Estate, long-term or short-term.

The Residents Association do not discriminate against race, age, sex, disability, income, religion or class.

Being involved within the Residents Association, you have a louder voice wit the Council and you can make sure they are accountable for caretaking, anti-social behaviour, repairs and Standards of Housing Services to improve and maintain services on the Estate.

By getting involved you can contribute to the way the Council improve the Estate by developing a better sense of community spirit and meeting Residents from other parts of the Borough to share partnership working.

We are registered with the Council.
